Really works as a native monitor. Price is stupidly high, but other than that. Highly recommended

Totally Disappointed!

CLM-FHD5//C CE7 30 November 2018 by Michaelsnood (Singapore) Verified Purchaser Verified

1) The touch focus feature on the camera does not work when this FHD5 monitor is turned out during 4K video shoot. 2) Buzzling sound feedback from the built in speaker. Hence, cannot playback audio when previewing video clips. 3) Bad experience with sales service at showroom.

I paid this high price to have 4 dead pixels?

CLM-FHD5 10 May 2018 by Akcayli (USA)

I'm really disappointed in this monitor, you're paying for the Sony Premium but the second I turned it on, I noticed 4 dead pixels in the display. Very upset.

Response From Sony North America Customer Support
10 May 2018

Hi Akcayli, The LCD panel fitted to this unit is manufactured with high precision technology. Thus a very small proportion of pixels may be “stuck”, either always off (black), always on (red, green, or blue), or flashing. In addition, over a long period of use, because of the physical characteristics of the liquid crystal display, such “stuck” pixels may appear spontaneously. These problems are not a malfunction: https://docs.sony.com/release//Manual_4572803111.pdf (p31)

You may initialize the unit by following the steps below:
1. Turn off the power to this unit.
2. Turn on the power to this unit while pressing and holding the center of the ZOOM/SELECT button.

Regards,
Vincent
