How to add printer on Linux operating system?
- Please click on the lower left corner icon (also start button).
- From the main menu, select System Settings, double-click printer configuration to open.
- On the left side of the list, select new printer, then select new printer button on the right. Choose the printer interface.
- The system will automatically scan the current printer available on the network. The result is displayed on the left.
- From the list of available printers, choose the configuration you want. Click on the lower right corner of the forward button, and input the Settings printer type.
- Select from the list of the printer model. If there is no printer in the list, please select before.
- Click on go button and enter the add printer specific driver model. The list of the printer models are displayed.
- On the right side, it displays available drivers in the system. The drivers displayed on the right depends on the printer model selected on the left.
- Click forward button and input the details:
- Printer name
- Description
- Position
- Click on ok to save and exit.
