VAIO models utilising Intel® 6 Series Chipset are not affected regardless of whether B3 stepping (refined chipset) or B2 stepping were used. As mentioned in the Intel website, systems with only integrated SATA ports 0 and 1 enabled are not susceptible to this issue. Sony has confirmed that in the system configuration, VAIO models use SATA ports 0 and 1.
