Internet Explorer 7 cannot find c:/program files/aol toolbar/welcome.html file.

WARNING: There is a risk of data loss. This procedure involves editing the Registry. Using the Registry editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that may require the operating system to be reinstalled and can result in the potential loss of data.

NOTE: A backup of the registry should be created before proceeding.

   1. Open the Registry Editor by typing regedit in the Start Search box.
   2. In the Registry Editor window, click Edit and then click Find...
   3. In the Find window, type HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main.
   4. Click to select First Home Page.
   5. On the menubar, click Edit, then click Delete.
   6. Restart the Internet Explorer 7 software.
