Why doesn't the VAIO computer recognize the i.LINK device that is connected?

    Device Manager does not recognize the connected i.LINK device.

    To resolve this symptom, follow one of the solutions below:

    * Solution 1
    1. Turn off and disconnect the i.LINK device.
    2. Connect the i.LINK device again and turn on the device.

    * Solution 2
    1. Turn off and disconnect both the VAIO computer and the i.LINK device.
    2. Restart the VAIO computer.
    3. Reconnect the i.LINK device and turn it on.

    * Solution 3
    1. Turn off and disconnect both the VAIO computer and the i.LINK device.
    2. Disconnect the power supply to the computer and leave the computer untouched for about ten (10) seconds.
    3. Restart the computer.
    4. Turn on the i.LINK device.
    5. Reconnect the device to the computer.
