Is it possible to clean install the Windows Operating System?

No, it is not possible to clean install Windows Operating System.

Sony provides functional support to Windows as an Operating System only when setup is performed through the supplied Recovery CD-ROM (in the state of initial shipment).
In addition, Microsoft does not provide support for Windows that is pre-installed in VAIO computers.
