When the user turn on the computer, the fan produces a substantially loud sound, but the sound becomes softer after the startup of Windows®. Why is that so?
The occurrence of this symptom is due to the specification of the product.
The fans for the CPU and the power supply are controlled by Windows® on the PCV-LX series. The fans are designed to rotate at different variable speeds when the temperature in the cabinet rises or when load is applied to the CPU. For the initial startup of the computer, the fans will rotate at full speed and will reduce to an appropriate speed once the startup is completed.
