Why are some DVD-R/RW media not usable?
When the following DVD-R/RW media are placed into the drive, the computer does not recognize it.
1. DVD-R media supporting 4X high-speed recording
Media in the standard of DVD-R for General Version 2.0/4X-SPEED DVD-R Revision 1.0 with Ready for 1 ~ 4X, Supporting 1 ~ 4x High-speed, 1-4x (SPEED), etc stated in the package.
2. DVD-RW media supporting 2X high-speed recording
Media in the standard of DVD-RW Version 1.1/2x-SPEED DVD-RW Revision 1.0 with Ready for 1 ~ 2x, Supporting 1 ~ 2x High-speed, 1-2x (SPEED), etc stated in the package.
The drives installed to this model do not support the DVD-R/RW media capable of high-speed recording.
Please use the data-record media that can be recorded at a standard speed.
