Why can't the VAIO computer work when operated through battery?

A. The VAIO computer cannot work when operated through battery.
B. BatteryScope indicates 100% in Windows environment, but the VAIO computer immediately turns off when the AC power supply is disconnected.
C. BatteryScope indicates 0% in Windows environment each time the computer restarts.
D. The battery indicator on the VAIO computer is not blinking even when the AC power supply is on.

Leave the battery charging for an hour. Then, identify the cause of the symptom with the following methods:

1. Reinsert the battery.
* If the symptom persists, either the computer or the battery, or both have malfunctioned.
* If the symptom disappears, the contact points between the battery and the computer have worn out.

2. Insert the battery into the second battery bay or the multi-purpose bay. (Optional)
* If the symptom persists, either the notebook or the battery, or both have malfunctioned.

3. Insert another battery. (Optional)
